Mission and Vision

The mission of the National Resource Center for Hispanic Mental Health (NRCHMH) is to reduce disparities in treatment access and to increase treatment quality and the availability of mental health services for Hispanics.  The NRCHMH also aims to heighten awareness, acceptance and understanding of mental illness among the nation’s Hispanic population.

The NRCHMH aims to serve as a primary national vehicle in eliminating disparities in the availability of, access to, and the provision of quality mental health services for Hispanics.
