A conference aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skill sets of behavioral health agency administrators and direct services providers on providing high-quality, and culturally competent behavioral health services to African Americans, Arab Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanics, and to individuals from the Gay, Lesbian, Bi-Sexual and Transgender communities.

Continuing Education Units are expected to be provided for professional counselors, psychologists, social workers, nurses, and drug and alcohol counselors.

MANA, A National Latina Organization's Annual Education and Training Conference

The conference will cover issues impacting Latinas of all ages today. By providing workshops discussing leadership training, child safety and nutrition, the lack of Latinas electorate, and the effects of redistricting, we hope to bring public awareness and educate the community on important issues affecting our Latinas. Event will feature:

MANA and affiliate members, who have been previously certified as Child Passenger Safety Technicians will have the opportunity to get re-certified in accordance with requirements of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Hermanitas® Leadership Institute (By Invitation Only)
MANA welcomes young Latinas from across the nation for the Annual Hermanitas®

Leadership institute program to participate in:

AvanZamos® Ford Fellowship Program (By Invitation Only)
A train the trainer program sets the foundation for training Madrinas (mentors) for the Hermanitas at the local level for MANA members.
