UCLA Health Risk Reduction Projects

Beginning November/December 2010, the UCLA Health Risk Reduction Projects will be hiring an intervention facilitator (30-40 hours per week for approximately 18 months) for a maternal HIV research project.

Job duties include the following:

  • Conduct cognitive-behavioral intervention with HIV positive mothers according to research protocol
  • Help recruit participating families
  • Schedule intervention sessions with participants
  • Participate in training and ongoing supervision

Job requirements include the following:

  • Minimum Masters degree in psychology, social work, or related field
  • Prefer knowledge of cognitive-behavioral theory
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) ability
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Travel within LA area
  • Interest in working with diverse and HIV positive populations
  • Prefer female applicants
