UCLA Health Risk Reduction Projects
Beginning November/December 2010, the UCLA Health Risk Reduction Projects will be hiring an intervention facilitator (30-40 hours per week for approximately 18 months) for a maternal HIV research project.
Job duties include the following:
- Conduct cognitive-behavioral intervention with HIV positive mothers according to research protocol
- Help recruit participating families
- Schedule intervention sessions with participants
- Participate in training and ongoing supervision
Job requirements include the following:
- Minimum Masters degree in psychology, social work, or related field
- Prefer knowledge of cognitive-behavioral theory
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) ability
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Travel within LA area
- Interest in working with diverse and HIV positive populations
- Prefer female applicants
