Starting Salary Range: $26,000 - $30,000

Primary Purpose: To ensure the successful implementation of each client’s plan in a manner that meets the standards of and fulfills the mission of Our Family and to provide supervision, guidance and mentoring to less senior staff in assigned program area.
Program /Department Description: En Buenas Manos provides a comprehensive range of services to provide for the immediate safety and care of unaccompanied undocumented children, aged 13-17, in federal custody, and to assist these youth in transitioning to a safe environment with family members and/or sponsors.

- Provides services (including intake, assessment, and service planning) in a client-centered and culturally appropriate manner
- Is available to clients at all hours required by program or contracts, including on-call or after hours coverage as required
- Effectively links clients with appropriate community resources and advocate for client needs
- Participates in actively soliciting feedback from program participants through distributing satisfaction surveys or other approved means
- Ensures aftercare planning is conducted with clients, whenever appropriate
- Works cooperatively with members of a larger treatment or service coordination team, either internally within the agency or externally in the larger community
- Effectively presents program curricula for classes or groups
- Provide supervision, guidance, training and mentoring to less senior staff in program area as assigned by manager
- Other duties as assigned
Scheduling flexibility:
Position will maintain a flexible, organized and efficient work schedule and may be subject to work more than a normal work day and be on call. Occasional evenings or Saturdays may be required to fulfill the purpose of the job. Some flexibility in scheduling is available to meet employee needs, as long as client and program needs are still being adequately addressed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Three (3) years experience relevant to position
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Child welfare and/or child protective services experience strongly desired
- Eligible to receive and maintain state fingerprint clearance
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen test
- At least 21 years of age
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to work with diverse populations
- Since position requires frequent driving to various locations to provide services, a valid Arizona driver’s license, reliable transportation, current auto insurance, and clean driving record are required
- Since position may involve assisting clients in obtaining necessary everyday living items, occasional lifting or moving household items may be requested, but no specific physical capabilities or lifting requirements are required
- Computer and technological skills necessary to complete program paperwork, keep accurate and timely case records, maintain appropriate correspondence, enter and retrieve client information on a database, use agency email, and locate information on internet.
